A Good Day?

I woke up a bit late, but that’s okay, I still have time to be productive. I actually feel rested so I should be up all day!

I will be going into round 2 of dying my hair, and once that’s done, I will start on getting some work and school out of the way. It won’t be the most eventful day, but for me to feel truly focused enough to say it will be productive is exciting for me!

All I have to do is get through today and tomorrow and it’ll be the weekend! I hope everyone has fun today!

A Change of Heart

In my last post (or the one before that) I said that I was going to be dying my hair brown. Well, I went to CVS with the intention of buying the same hair dye I bought before, but another color caught my eye. It’s a soft black, and I haven’t had black hair in about 5 years, and I think it’s about time to try it again. The good thing about black hair dye is that I know it will cover the green, blue and brown in my hair.

Outside of changing my hair, I am getting everything in order for a fun weekend of work and little sleep… and some games! I will also be tackling my new laundry mountain, which I’m not too excited about but I’ve run out of clothes to wear and I’m pretty sure I need to wear clothes to leave the house.

I’m happy that I’m keeping myself busy. Keeping busy is the best distraction from my thoughts and I need to keep my mind focused on moving forward.

Need More Dye

My hair dried into a wonderful moss-green color, so I will be dying it again tonight. Last night it was a pale green, which I didn’t hate, but this is just terrible.

Other than putting more chemicals on my head later on tonight, I have my normal routine underway: school, work, nap, etc. I don’t have much else to report on, so I guess I’ll wrap it up.

I hope everyone has fun today!

Back to the Basics

Well, it’s done… sort of. I dyed my hair brown. The color didn’t take fully, though, as certain parts are still blue and a majority of my hair now looks teal in certain light. Once it dries, I will take another picture before I start the second round of dyeing.

I haven’t had brown hair in a while. It’s my natural hair color, but I prefer blues, reds and purples. I like this shade, though. I think once it’s not brown with a teal undertone, it’ll look nice. I actually don’t mind the green color, I want to hate it but I don’t.

I have a busy day tomorrow, so I will be trying to get to sleep at a normal hour so I can wake up and get everything done!

Goodnight everyone!

Some Good, Some Bad

I won’t be writing for long because I have a terrible sinus headache and I need to lie down. I hope it’s just allergies and I’m not truly sick, or else this week will be even longer.

I actually got out of the house today and walked to CVS to buy hair dye. It took me about 20 minutes to pick out a color that wasn’t blue. I have to say, I will miss my blue hair, but I need a bit of change. The past few weeks have been full of change, and even though some of it has been tough, it’s been eye-opening and overall good.

My stress levels have been steadily rising, but I’m hoping they’ll lower soon. I have too much to do, so I need my anxiety to back off for a bit. I’m doing well, though. I’m still here and that’s all I can really ask for right now.

I hope everyone had a great day!

Space Cadet

I started writing this before 12, so I won’t get my third strike for this one! I am so tired that I can’t stop spacing out. I don’t know if I’m sick or it’s stress or a combination of the two.

This weekend started off with me getting new glasses, which I desperately needed. My vision isn’t the best and I keep getting headaches from straining my eyes. I’m really happy that I finally have a new prescription.

I also keep falling asleep on my boyfriend, which I feel terrible about. I don’t mind falling asleep when he’s around, he relaxes me, I just hate that the past few times I have done nothing but sleep. I’m sleeping at night, but I still end up passing out, so I don’t know what’s wrong.

I have a lot I need to do today, including dying my hair, which I will be leaving for the store in a little bit.

I hope everyone slept well and has a wonderful Monday!

Blue Nails

Here’s a fun tip: if you don’t have nail polish, dye your hair blue and it will stain your nails. It also won’t come off with soap and water, or nail polish remover. The best part is that if I lightly scratch my face, I end up with blue lines in the area.

Today is clean up day. I will get this dye off of my nails and skin no matter how long it takes. I don’t mind with light staining from dye, I’ve dealt with it many times in the past, but I am not leaving the house with blue patches all over me!

I love the color blue, I really do, just not all over my body. I also don’t mind a bit of a mess, but a contained mess, preferably just my hair. I will try everything from makeup wipes to rubbing alcohol.

By the end of the day, I will no longer look like I’m part Smurf!

Confidence Boost

Today was a good day for my confidence. I absolutely love my blue hair and how it makes me feel. Even though my nails and skin match my hair, I feel like I can take on anything that’s thrown at me!

When I was waiting for the dye to take, I had a lot of time to think about everything that has happened over the past few weeks. I thought about everyone in my life and how they have helped me grow into who I am today. I am so grateful for everyone who I hold close to my heart and I can’t picture my life without them.

Since we’re on the note of being happy and grateful for what we have, I reached 41 followers! I am beyond excited to know that this project is continuing to grow and that you guys enjoy my writing. Blogging has always been an outlet for me, and I’m so happy that I get to share it with so many people!

I hope everyone had a wonderful day!

Deep Blue

I’m now a blue-head girl! I decided to dye my hair blue again because it’s my favorite color, and what better color to get back into dying my hair than blue! I also dyed part of my face, my hands, and parts of my arms!

My hair is still wet, but when it dries I will definitely be taking a ton of photos. I ended up using Splat hair dye, which I haven’t used since high school, but I am extremely happy with how it turned out.

Now, with blue hands, I am off to do some work!

Blondes Have More Fun

The first step of changing my hair has been taken! I covered my head in bleach and now I’m blonde (again)! I won’t be for long, though, for tomorrow I will be adding the mystery color! The only thing I can say is that I’ve had this color before and I’m very excited to revisit it.

I’ve truly missed the art of dyeing my hair, and I’m happy that I’m back at it! I find it strangely relaxing, and with my anxiety, I could stand to do more things that relax me. I’m not going to lie and say I have the toughest life, but I tend to get overwhelmed which causes me to stress about everything.

Outside of bleaching my hair, I got to spend the entire day with my lovely mom! We went to breakfast and just hung out. I love spending time with my mom, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

I hope everyone had a great start to their week, and here’s to surviving Monday!
